  • Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival

    Here we start our delightful visit in Laos. After checking into hotel, Join us on a city tour visiting Wat Visun, Wat Aham, the beautiful Wat Xieng Thong, walking along the street to Wat Mai. This afternoon climb Phu Si-hill to enjoy the view overlooking the city and watch the amazing sunset. From here we can see the magic Mekong and the small Nam Khan rivers. From there, we explore Street Night Bazaar, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

  • Day 2: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave - Mekong River

    Today after breakfast get a transfer to the pier then enjoy a trip by private long boat on the Mekong river to Pak Ou, stop en-route to visit Muang Kham (Lao Lum), if you wish, Ban Xang Hai (Lao Lum), where the distillation of rice whisky (Lou Lao) can be seen. Then continue onto Pak Ou, visiting the exciting "Tham Ting cave", before crossing the Mekong to Ban Pak Ou. On our way back we will visit the village of Ban Xang Khong where they still produce saa paper.

  • Day 3: Luang Prabang - the imporessive Kuang Si Waterdalls

    Breakfast at the hotel; this morning we will visit the National Museum then by car transfer to the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls, on the way we stop to visit Hmong-and Khmu villages. Here we can learn about their way of life and the differences between Lao, Khamu and Hmong culture. Of course we arrive at the waterfall for a refreshing bath in the afternoon. Transfer back in town in the evening.

  • Day 4: Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng

    Transfer from Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng. Amazing mountain sceneries, beautiful landscapes and village visits along the way. Afternoon walk in the great carst mountain scenery and visit of surrounding caves. Overnight in Vang Vieng near the river.

  • Day 5: Vang Vieng - Vietiane Capital

    After breakfast will drive by minivan to Vientiane, the capital of Laos. After checking in your hotel we'll start visiting the major sights of interest of Vientiane. Wat Sisaket, a temple of thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous, sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Phatuxay Monument, which is Vientiane ’s own Arc de Triumph.

  • Day 6: Vietiane - Siem Reap

    Breakfast at your hotel. Then transfer to airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon your arrival in Siem Reap, you will be welcomed by a local English speaking guide and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Lunch in a local restaurant.

    After lunch, you will visit the famous Angkor Wat. Built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Inside the temple, the walls are covered with stone carvings and bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology and the wars Suryavarman II fought during his reign.

    Later afternoon, Artisan d’Angkor, a project established to support Cambodian arts and crafts. Visit the workshop and see stone carvings, wooden sculptures, lacquer work and painting all being produced. This evening enjoy Dinner whilst watching a show of Apsara dancing at local restaurant.

  • Day 7: Siem Reap

    Start your day with a tour to the temples of the Small Circuit. The most famous among these is Ta Prohm temple, built in the mid-12th to early 13th centuries. Your visit will also include Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th Century, and Srah Srang, also known as the “pool of ablutions”. Return to the hotel for a break during the midday heat.

    Later today, visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Angkor Thom was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. Enter the city through the ancient South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and four giant faces. On each side of the entrance path a row of 54 gods or demons is holding the sacred Naga snake.

    Continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur and is well-known for its 54 towers with enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire and the Terrace of the Leper King are also must-visits as they are both known for their intricate bas-reliefs. Return to your hotel in the afternoon.

  • Day 8: Banteay Srei - Kbal Spean

    This morning, head to the north - visit the captivating and beautiful temple of Banteay Srei or ‘Fortress of the Women’. The journey allows you to experience the beautiful Cambodian countryside as you pass through small typical villages, on-route you will visit Banteay Samre. Banteay Srei is an elaborately decorated temple, embellished with floral motifs and scenes from the Ramayana, all carved from pink sandstone.

    Continue to Kbal Spean, commonly known as ‘The Valley of a 1000 Lingas’. You will have ample time to experience the beauty of this site and enjoy the steep walk to the famous Kbal Spean Rock Bridge and waterfalls. You will also see intricate and historic carvings of animals and Hindu Deities at this site. Return to your hotel.

  • Day 9: Rolous - Tonle Sap

    This morning visits the Roluos group, it was the first town built by the Angkorian kings in the 8th and 9th century and consists of three main temples: Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko.

    After that, we head to the Tonlé Sap Lake, where you will have the opportunity to learn about life on the lake. South East Asia’s largest freshwater lake with its size varying greatly depending on the season. Board a local boat and visit Kampong Phluk, a village where you will see houses on stilts that are submerged when Tonlé Sap Lake extends

    (Note: Due to low water levels during the dry season, the boat trip is only possible from June to March. However an alternative floating village at Chong Kneas can be arranged instead).

    After lunch, transfer to the hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

  • Day 10: Siem Reap - Phnom  Penh Overland

    Today you bid farewell to Siem Reap and head to Kampong Thom (2.5 hours). We stop at Naga Bridge in Kampong Kdei, this bridge is one of the dry-jointed laterite block construction engineering wonders along NR6, is located about 45 km southeast of Siem Reap and is the highest and longest of the 800 year old ancient bridges, spanning approximately 85m and 14 m high.

    After lunch, we to continue to Skun town and visit of Skun Market which is famous for where they hunt and eat spiders... or rather tarantulas. Continue to drive 3-hour to Phnom Penh. Once you have checked in and freshened up you will be taken to a delightful dinner at Foreign Correspondent Club (FCC) – dinning with view of the fast-moving Tonle Sap flowing to the Mekong.

  • Day 11: Phnom Penh City Tour - Departure

    On your first morning in charming Phnom Penh, you will visit the terracotta red National Museum which offers a charming setting for a comprehensive collection of Khmer artifacts. After this you will visit the nearby Royal Palace, on the banks of the Mekong River.

    You will move onto the neighboring Silver Pagoda, so named as it is claimed its floor is made up of over 4,000 silver tiles! Your cyclo driver will then take you to a local restaurant for lunch before transfer to the airport.
