Chantrey is 15 years old and only has a mother who unfortunately cannot afford to look after her and all her 5 brothers and sisters. Thus she lives at the New Futures Organisation’s orphanage in Takeo, Cambodia.

Chantrey is currently in 7th Grade at school and when she finishes she would like to be a teacher. (June 08)

Pout Tik is 11 years old and he has no parents, thus he lives at the New Futures Organisation’s orphanage in Takeo, Cambodia. He has 4 brothers and sisters.

Tik is currently in 2nd Grade at school and when he is older he would like to be a translator. (June 08)

Kagna is 14 years old and she has no parents, thus she lives at the New Futures Organisation’s orphanage in Takeo, Cambodia. She has 5 younger brothers and sisters who live with her Grandmother.

Kagna is currently in 3rd Grade at school and when she is older she would like to be a beautician. (June 08)

Nong is 14 years old and he has no parents, thus he lives at the New Futures Organisation’s orphanage in Takeo, Cambodia. He has 1 older sister.

Nong is currently in 1st Grade at school and like many young boys when he is older he would like to be a pilot, a doctor, a footballer… (June 08)

San Soban is 13 years old and he has no parents, thus he lives at the New Futures Organisation’s orphanage in Takeo, Cambodia. He has 4 brothers and sisters who live with his Grandmother.

Soban is currently in 4th Grade at school and when he is older he would like to be an artist / sign-writer. Soban is recovering from a serious leg operation, so the bike will be wonderful physio… (June 08)

Konkea is 7 years old and has no parents. She was living with her 80 year old grandmother along with 6 other grandchildren. Her grandmother could no longer afford to look after all of them, thus Konkea now lives at the New Futures Organisation's orphanage in Takeo, Cambodia.

Konkea is always smiling and she is currently in 1st Grade at school and when she grows up she would like to be a teacher. (Nov 08)
